We were watching the BYU vs. Oregon State football game. To set the story up,Breanna attends Washington Elementary with Devin. They are a "No Excuses University." Each classroom is a "university". The kids are encouraged to prepare for college. This year Breanna is an Oregon State Beaver. Devin was one last year. As we were watching the game, I was cheering for BYU. I was excited when they played well and Breanna was excited when they would turn over the ball. Just before halftime, Breanna looked at me and said, "Mom we really need to get on the same page. You are cheering for the wrong team."
Gotta love it! My team did win and she wanted a kiss as consolation.
